Not medical advice. Inactive, low-active, active, and very-active calories are 2023 Estimated Energy Requirements, not a resting metabolic rate and not the 2,000-calorie Nutrition Facts reference. Week 20 and week 34 are this planner’s defaults when a trimester is chosen and no week is typed. People listed: 2.
Sources
Every calorie, water, egg, and product figure above comes from one of these. Government and National Academies sources are separate from Wolf Den’s own product pages. Week 20 (second trimester) and week 34 (third trimester) are this planner’s defaults, not a federal number.

- FDA, 21 CFR 101.9 — nutrition labelinghttps://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-21/chapter-I/subchapter-B/part-101/subpart-A/section-101.9The 2,000-calorie figure on Nutrition Facts labels is a reference for percent Daily Value. It is not a personal calorie prescription, and this planner does not use it as anyone’s target.
- Ready.gov (FEMA), Waterhttps://www.ready.gov/waterStore at least one gallon of water per person per day for drinking and sanitation. A normally active person needs about three-quarters of a gallon of fluid a day from beverages. Needs vary, and in very hot temperatures they can double. Do not ration drinking water unless authorities say to.
- CDC, How to create and store an emergency water supplyhttps://www.cdc.gov/water-emergency/about/how-to-create-and-store-an-emergency-water-supply.htmlStore at least 1 gallon of water per person per day. Store more for pregnancy, illness, or a hot climate, and aim for a 2-week supply when you can.
- USDA FoodData Central, egg, whole, raw, fresh (FDC 171287, SR Legacy 01123)https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/food-details/171287/nutrientsOne large egg (50 g) is listed at 72 kcal and 6.28 g protein. Wolf Den states an 8 oz bag of powdered eggs is about 19–24 large eggs, so the bag is about 1,368–1,728 kcal before cooking loss. That range is not counted toward the meal target.
- FDA, What you need to know about egg safetyhttps://www.fda.gov/food/buy-store-serve-safe-food/what-you-need-know-about-egg-safetyCook eggs until yolks are firm, and cook foods that contain eggs thoroughly. Wolf Den powdered eggs are raw whole eggs and have to be cooked. Do not eat the powder dry.
- Wolf Den Foods, 72 Hour Meal Pack (1 person)https://wolfdenfoods.com/shop/ols/products/72-hour-meal-pack-feeds-1-person-9-mealsThe company publishes 9 meals and 5,550 total calories for this pack. Every hot meal in the plan uses 5,550 ÷ 9 = 616.7 kcal, rounded to 617 when we talk about one pouch. Individual flavors do not publish their own calorie counts, so this average is a Wolf Den figure, not an FDA assay.
- Wolf Den Foods, powdered whole eggshttps://wolfdenfoods.com/shop/ols/products/powdered-eggsNet weight 8 oz. The product page states about 19–24 large eggs per bag, and that the eggs are raw and must be cooked.
- Wolf Den Foods, FAQhttps://wolfdenfoods.com/faqThe company tells customers to plan at least one gallon of water per person per day, and to store sealed food cool, dry, and out of sunlight. Prices in the shopping list are the store’s published prices.
